PHYSICIAN BIOS
Stephan D. Thomé, M.D., F.A.C.P.
I believe in patient-centered care and in the importance of good communication between all members of the patient care team. My published research into the efficacy of adjuvant treatments allows me to help patients choose what to do after surgery for breast cancer, colon cancer or melanoma. My training in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology has been extensive and allows me to help with both a thorough diagnostic evaluation and the formulation of a modern, evidence-based, treatment plan. The gold standard is always the question: what is best for the patient? Mutual respect, compassion, trust help me chart the best clinical course for each individual person.
