Gamini S. Soori, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.P., F.R.C.P., C.P.E.

Dr. Soori graduated with honors from the University of Ceylon School of Medicine, in Sri Lanka and completed his Internal Medicine Residency in England. He received his fellowship training in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center, Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Soori completed additional training in Hematology and Oncology at the Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden Hospital in London, England. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. As the Medical Director of Bergan Mercy Cancer Center, he serves as the Chairman of its Oncology Committee. He is the Principal Investigator of NCI-funded Missouri Valley Cancer Consortium. Dr. Soori is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Soori is married to Chandrika Soori, MD and has two children.
