Natalie Mandolfo, NCS Nurse Practitioner, receives Agnes Lempka Award

08.07.10 — posted in: news

The Susan G Komen for the Cure, Nebraska Chapter, presented Natalie Mandolfo, nurse practitioner at Nebraska Cancer Specialists with the Agnes Lempka Award at their August 7, 2010 Survivors Luncheon. The award is presented to an individual who represents the Komen spirit, either as a survivor or in support of the Komen mission to end breast cancer forever.

Agnes Lempka lived quietly but profoundly with breast cancer for 38 years. She never talked about her diagnosis publicly until she attended her first survivor luncheon in 1999. She became a strong supporter of the Affiliate and so, in her
honor,  an individual who shows unwavering support to the Komen mission.

Nebraska Cancer Specialists is honored to have such a caring and compassionate professional on their staff as Natalie Mandolfo. Congratulations!
